WRAPPED
My MA show at Bath Spa University September 2025. My manifesto was to build a model world of transferable forms that play with scale and to wrap every inch of them with masking tape. Bringing together discarded objects rescued from skips or found in the street and marrying them with my own family artefacts I have provided them with a new shared existence from which any sense of original purpose has been removed and all sense of hierarchy stripped. These sculptural forms are now only vaguely representative of things we are familiar with and are free to become new objects that can stand together or alone, beacons to illuminate the ways in which we experience the world.
