I was a magician before I became an artist, performing close up magic on the international stage for 20 years before Covid forced me to pivot and I began a degree in Fine Art at the University of Gloucestershire. After winning a travel bursary to study in Barcelona, I took a year out and worked as a mediator for the 2022 Kochi-Muziris Biennale in Southern India. I also spent time in residency at a traditional terracotta studio, observing and learning centuries-old skills from local artisans After graduation, my first group show was ‘Natural Progression’, at the Wilson Gallery in Cheltenham, where I exhibited my Surreal City, a vast landscape of terracotta pieces, Poleidoblocs and play sand that covered a twenty four foot hand built table. In September 2025, I graduated from the MA in Fine Art at Bath Spa University and received the Wilfred Southall Award for Sustainable Fabrication. I continue to refine my practice through research and experimentation, producing a growing body of scientific abstractions, buildings, cities and quasi utopian landscapes. I am also an art teacher for Milton Keynes College.
